“from the margin to the edge”
With outmoded presuppositions of difference dismantled, and rigid judgments about other cultures undone, we finally arrive at the possibility of embarking together on the search for solutions that are in everyone’s interest. If nothing else, recent Brazilian production has this to contribute: the awareness that no progress can be made until the peripheral is integrated into the core of the collective imagination.
