Future Kitsch is a portrait of time and its effects upon technology, which it strips of its modernity and novelty, rendering it old and obsolete, its flaws and artificiality laid bare, turning it into a techno-plastic piece of kitsch, a simulacrum degraded into fakery.
To blur the thing, deprive it of its place in time, the collection’s colors are techno-faded, with prints that evoke pioneering computerized images. Old or new?
