The exhibition Quase Líquido (Almost Liquid) raised issues related to art and ecology. The artist Eduardo Srur exhibited 20 monumental inflatable PET bottles on the banks of the Tietê River.
After the exhibition, the artist and Itaú Cultural commissioned a project to recycle the massive inflatables. 2,500 backpacks were created out of the material and distributed free of charge to public-school pupils and NGOs from partner projects.
